Council
for the Parliament of World Religions
|
The third Council for the Parliament
of World Religions was held in December 1999 at Cape Town in South Africa.
MWR founder, Dharma Master Hsin Tao was invited to attend and, in his speech
to the council, stressed the need for cooperation between religions and
for an outlook surpassing sectional and factional interest. As this tallied
very closely with the ideas of the council, Master Hsin Taoˇ¦s efforts to
build the MWR received widespread approval and praise. His was the councilˇ¦s
most concrete contribution to the worldˇ¦s people. |
