Harmonious Mingling of Islam and Buddhism has Happened - At the MWR!

The Museum of World Religions (MWR) joined together with the R.O.C.ˇ¦s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to host a thanksgiving reception at Taipeiˇ¦s Hilton Hotel. Guest of honor was World Muslim League (MWL), which had presented the museum with a treasured Koran, materials and artifacts.

The World Muslim League (WML), an international organization composed of sixty-two Islamic countries around the world, has always maintained a great influence in the Muslim world. Presenting the MWR with several dozen Islamic artifacts including a Koran and a section of the Kiswa from Mecca is an unprecedented event in the history of the MWL. This is the first time such a valuable gift has been presented to a non-Muslim nation or person.
