KMT chairman Lien Chan attended and spoke at the Great Offering Ceremony at the opening of the Musuem of World Religions on Nov. 9. Chairman Lien also joined Master Hsin Tao in the offering ceremony. The atmosphere at the ceremony was both festive and somber. Chairman Lien said he felt honored to be honorary director of the museum and to attend the offering ceremony for the launch, to witness the birth of a museum that deserve our deep appreciation. Chairman Lien also said he expected the spirit of Museum --- " respect, tolerance, love" --- to spread far and wide, and the Republic of China to become the world's best role model for peace, and love. |
