President Chen Shui-bian attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the GreatHall of World Religions at the Museum of World Religions on Nov. 19 andcompleted this epoch-making ritual together with Master Hsin Tao, founder ofthe Museum. President Chen also expressed his expectations for the arrivalof an era filled with love and peace across religious boundaries andtranscending conflicts. President Chen said the launch of the Museum was a major event for thereligious world, a blessing for Taiwan, and a cause of pride for the peopleof Taiwan. Master Hsin Tao is a great practitioner working to dissolve warsand conflicts around the world by way of all-pervasive love and the greataspiration to make the world more beautiful and peaceful. The Museum ofWorld Religions was not established by any specific group, but was builtjointly by people from different regions, one step at a time. It istherefore a blessing and glory for Taiwan's 23 million people. |
