The Museum of World Religions has finally smoothly opened under the impetus of the society. For the past ten years, we have held the vision of "respect, tolerance and love" to promote the religious ideal of "love and peace". Finally, we were able to settle down the root in Taiwan and pour streams of aggressive, positive and bright energy out to the international society.

What the Museum of World Religions projects is not only a wish of spiritual civilization, but also the realization of what the Taiwanese have been working on , the ideal of "world peace, global village" ideal. I truly believe in this era the Museum of World Religions must have its important and indicated meaning. This work is not for one day only; neither is it by a single person. It has to be consistently worked on and broadly spread to elaborate and increase its influence.

The opening of the Museum of World Religions does not mean it will play the role of director; instead it has the role of hastening. Here, I would like to thank all aspects of support which has been given to this museum. Without your selfless contributions, this ideal would not be realized. Then you would not be here to witness the "true, kind and beautiful" religious face. Besides which, we have to give thanks for the religious works done by the government. The ideal of promoting "mind reformation" and "life education" enables religions to be developed in a free and open environment, and outreached to different classes of society in Taiwan.

The inauguration of the museum symbolizes real progress The most important topic for the museum in the future is how to assist in promoting and realizing the mission of "tolerate, respect and love". I deeply expect and wish the museum will play an inspiring role to unify all religious kind and positive strengths to broadly and consistently influence people ,as time goes by, to reach "love and peace' of human civilization.
