Featuring Personal Sacred Objects of the Dalai Lama

Closing Day : The museum is closed every Monday, and Chinese New Year’s Eve to Chinese January 3rd.

 

This exhibition includes antiques selected by Dalai Lama, antiques from Drepung Loseling Monastery and collections from MWR. Thirty antiques out of eighty are selected by Dalai Lama, including the tangka he uses during contemplation, Buddhas, Buddhist musical instrument and monk’s robe. There are also thirty-three precious antiques from Drepung Loseling Monastery, and seventeen collections from MWR. During the exhibition, we invite Indian monks to make the sacred “Sha Tancheng” drawing.
